McLaughlin Vineyards
Take I-84 to Exit 10.
Go north/east on Rt. 6/Church Hill Rd. (towards Sandy Hook) for 0.1 mi.
Turn left on Walnut Tree Hill Rd. and follow for 1.8 mi.
Turn left on Alberts Hill Rd. and go 100 yards.
Turn right into McLaughlin Vineyards.
Follow the gravel driveway past a house, through the wetlands, up onto the old railroad bed (now a gas pipeline).
Make a sharp left turn at the top of the hill and follow the signs into the vineyard parking lot.
Note: The vineyard hosts weddings and other receptions on their grounds and parking will be scarce at these times. For alternate parking, go back to the sharp turn on the pipeline, but don't turn. Go straight through the gate, and park just inside the fence. Or continue another 1/4 mile to the Iroquois Pipeline parking area.
At the north end of the parking lot, between the bungalow and the sugar shack, is the access trail with a map box. Follow the trail 0.1 mi. to the McLaughlin Vineyards segment.
Go left to continue north to the Upper Paugussett segment, and right to go around the McLaughlin property and to the southern segments of the trail.
