Take I-84 to Exit 10.
Go north/east on Rt. 6/Church Hill Rd. (towards Sandy Hook) for 0.3 mi.
Turn right into the Newtown United Methodist Church parking lot.

Don't park here on Sunday mornings--use the Dayton St. parking.

Trailhead Access:

For the Rocky Glen segment and points North, cross Church Hill Rd. onto Dayton St. and follow it to the end near the footbridge. The trailhead is just left of the footbridge.

For the Pootatuck River segment and points South, follow the trail at the rear of the church, just to the left of the playground.
