Directions:

Take I-84 to Exit 11.
Go left on Mile Hill Rd. and follow it for 1 mi.
Turn right on Trade Ln. and follow it to Old Farm Rd.
Turn right on Old Farm Rd. and follow it down the hill to the bridge over Deep Brook. Park on either side of the bridge, but block the road.

Trailhead Access:

This parking area is at the halfway point of the Deep Brook segment. For a short loop to the southern terminus of Al's Trail, cross the bridge over Deep Brook and follow the left trail upstream.

For the other half of the Deep Brook segment, and points north, the high water trail is on the far side of the bridge and goes downstream. The prettier low water trail goes downstream along the Ag field and crosses on a stepping stone bridge near the Pootatuck River.
