State boat ramp on Hanover Rd. near Pond Brook Rd.

Directions: 

Take I-84 to Exit 10.
Go south/west on Rt. 6/Church Hill Rd. (towards Newtown) for 0.6 mi.
Turn right on The Boulvard and follow it for 1.3 mi. under I-84, where it becomes Hanover Rd.
Continue straight on Hanover Rd. for 2.2 mi.
Turn right into the state boat launch opposite Pond Brook Rd.

Trailhead Access: 

Walk out of the parking lot and go left on Hanover Rd. Go over the bridge and follow the Newtown Trailway markers for 100 yards to the Northern Terminus on the left.

If the water level is low, use the cut-through on the left after the bridge to get to the trail.
